The 9th Intake "7+1 Entrepreneurship for Design & Creative Business" Certificate Programme
All successful businesses start with an entrepreneur. But it takes more than a creative mind and a brilliant idea to succeed in business. Hong Kong Design Centre, in collaboration with Center for Entrepreneurship of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, is proud to present this unique programme: "7+1 Entrepreneurship for Design & Creative Business". Since its launch in 2008 this programme has been receiving strong demands and it's already the 9th intake. If you want to turn your ideas into a business, this ultimate course will provide you with the management skills, resources and insights that will bring you a better chance of success.
The CU Social Enterprise Club is established by the Center for Entrepreneurship and funded by CUHK I.CARE Program. Through organizing a series of educational and social events such as tutorial sessions and social enterprise research, we aim at empowering members to become future social entrepreneurs. Members will acquire a multitude of skills in problem solving, interview technique, research analysis and design thinking method. We are looking for current CUHK students who are self-motivated and passionate to join us. Alumni and friends are also welcome to help us in our events.
The instructor will lead students to go over a set of slides and then talk about the case of a Hong Kong based startup called Hong Kong EV Power. This venture installs chargers of electrical vehicles in public and private locations. It is the leader of this emerging market and has received investment funding for expanding into China.
